I do still have one question though. On the Yogourmet website it says "this starter must be used only with the Yogourmet Multi yogurt maker...CBA yogurt starter requires an incubation period of 12 to 15 hours, during which time the temperature must be increased gradually from 23°C to 44°C (73°F to 112°F)"<br /><br />I have an EasiYo yoghurt maker and as the EasiYo Bio-Life Organic Yogurt Mix is very expensive where I live I was hoping to use the Yogourmet CBA starter instead but the temperature in the EasiYo maker decreases over time rather than increasing . Based on your experience I was wondering whether you think there would be a method for using the Yogourmet CBA starter with the EasiYo maker and still end up with yoghurt with a decent amount of 'good' bacteria in it? I was thinking of heating the milk and milk powder at 90°C for 30mins, leaving it to cool to 37°C, mixing in the CBA powder and then putting the mixture in the EasiYo thermos for 8 hours or so (but I wasn't sure if the boiling water touching the yoghurt container could do damage to the cultures?)<br /><br />Sorry for the lengthy comment! Any advice greatly appreciated!Amy | Appetite for Discoveryhttp://www.appetitefordiscovery.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-997321328892025524.post-87096405782012440822011-10-20T15:05:18.174-07:002011-10-20T15:05:18.174-07:00Very helpful information, thank you. Some of my friends like the EasiYo Bio-Life Organic Yogurt Mix. It contains dried milk and a simple probiotic starter. If you are living in Australia, check out http://www.goldenglow.com.au/product/EasiYo-Bio-Life-Organic-Yogurt-/378/103. I hope you can find something cheaper where you live that you can make with real milk that has more probiotic strains. I feel grateful that I am able to buy inexpensive good quality probiotic starters in China. Let me know what you find where you live.Denny Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06952360626901939145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-997321328892025524.post-20271907078496894942011-02-16T22:41:55.040-08:002011-02-16T22:41:55.040-08:00Just found your site.
